Mrs. Tobi Knehr

Mrs. Knehr was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ.  After graduating with her Master's in Political Science, she relocated to Washington, DC to train college students across the country to create service-learning programs.  Driven by her desire to serve the community, in 2002, Mrs. Knehr was selected to be part of Teach for America and was placed in Paterson, NJ; where she was a classroom teacher for seven years.  In 2006, she earned her Master's in Educational Leadership.  Mrs. Knehr transitioned into administration in 2010 to develop the Full-Service Community Schools Department for the Paterson Public Schools.  Mrs. Knehr remains dedicated to removing the barriers that get in the way of students’ emotional, academic, and social success.  She believes the power of education transforms communities and influences the growth of society.
